MELBOURNE BAND PHOTOGRAPHER FOR KILLAWAIL – PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY MELBOURNE

We where asked to photograph a new Melbourne based band called KillaWail.
They are such a talented bunch! I’ve put a youtube link to one of their songs for interested parties CHECK THEM OUT!!
Anyway… We had been asked to shoot during a Live set at a small venue in the suburbs and get some fun after gig portraits.

We organised a mini flash set up to rival the gods of lightning! We gelled the room with different colours to give an ‘on stage’ feel but with lots of light in order to get the sort of quality (low ISO) shots we were after.

These are the sorts of shots that can be used in magazines, print publication and posters.
We had a lot of laughs with them doing the after gig shots and just for fun made up a poster for them with these portrait shots.

A fantastic night and great guys (and drummer gal) to work with.
We wish them all our best.
